rt newt (a most unusual story...)

Robert the ring-tailed newt was born on a paradoxically sunny day in February, 1980 at Shi Shi ("Magic Magic") beach on the Olympic peninsula. It was rumored that psilocybin mushrooms were involved in his miraculous conception and emanation.

Those were the days when men were men and newts were merely soft little annoyances which squished between their toes. But rt was more resilient than initially suspected. At an early age, Mr. Newt showed a marked propensity for the Camera Obscura, the Animus Vitas, the Viola da Gamba, and the Rigadoon. He exposed many a negative of the winsome and charming Ms. Cindy Buff, who currently resides on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay.

Mr. Newt was destined to befriend many beings of spiritual substance, including Gaya, the earth goddess, who gifted him with a ring-tailed newt (or perhaps lizard) symbol entrusted to her by a Hopi shaman; Bridgid (the triple goddess of Ireland); and Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Bloom (while in residence at 7 Eccles Street, Dublin, Ireland).

Having maintained previous residences at Stow Lake (San Francisco) and Lake Ronkonkoma (Long Island, New York), Mr. Newt now resides on the shores of lovely Spring Lake in Sonoma County.
